Together, we fight hunger and its root causes because no one should go hungry.
Hunger-free community
The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for Calgarians facing crisis. Through partnerships with agencies, schools, and programs, the Food Bank distributes quality, nutritious food to individuals and families while addressing root causes of food insecurity. Clients can access food hampers directly, while many others benefit through the organization's extensive network of over 200 partner agencies.
In addition to food distribution, the Calgary Food Bank is deeply engaged in systemic change—working to address the circumstances that lead to hunger. By collecting data, collaborating with frontline organizations, and leveraging community support, the Food Bank plays a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable populations and advocating for long-term solutions. Its commitment to dignity, accessibility, and community collaboration reinforces its broader goal of building a hunger-free future.
