Ilisaqsivik Society is an Inuit-led, non-profit organization based in Clyde River, Nunavut. Established to support the holistic wellbeing of individuals, Ilisaqsivik offers programs and services deeply rooted in Inuit culture, language, and traditions. Their initiatives aim to promote community wellness and empower individuals by providing culturally relevant support and resources.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Jennifer Jaypoody and Board Chair Annie Iqalukjuak, Ilisaqsivik continues to focus on preserving and promoting Inuit culture and human potential. The organization operates a Health and Wellness Centre that offers Inuit-led, culturally relevant community programs and counselling services in Inuktitut. Through its dedicated efforts, Ilisaqsivik plays a vital role in fostering resilience and wellbeing within the community.
