Provides support for infrastructure, equipment, and technological improvements that enhance organizational capacity in Grey/Bruce counties.
To apply for a Capital Grant from the Community Foundation Grey Bruce, organizations must first submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) online by July 1. Eligible applicants include registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or not-for-profit organizations sponsored by a qualified donee as determined by the CRA. Projects must serve communities within Grey and/or Bruce Counties and focus on one or more of the following areas: Children and Youth, Health, Environment, Education, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Poverty Reduction, or Living Standards and Housing.
After submitting the LOI, if the project is deemed eligible, the organization will be invited to complete the full online application. For assistance or to discuss project eligibility, applicants are encouraged to contact Jen Legge, Grants Coordinator.
All applicants must complete a Letter of Intent through the Foundation's online granting portal. After the submission of a Letter of Intent (LOI) and, if invited, a full application, each proposal undergoes a thorough evaluation by a volunteer Grant Review Team. Reviewers assess applications based on criteria such as alignment with CFGB's focus areas—Children and Youth; Health; Environment; Education; Recreation; Arts and Culture; Poverty Reduction; Living Standards and Housing—and the project's potential impact on Grey and Bruce Counties. The team's recommendations are then forwarded to CFGB's Board of Directors for final approval. Applicants are notified of the funding decisions following this comprehensive review process.
