Applications for the Community Support Grants are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The Grants Committee reviews applications monthly or bi-monthly, depending on the volume of submissions. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications at least one month prior to their desired review period to allow sufficient time for evaluation.
The review process may include the following steps:
Initial Screening: The Grants Committee conducts a preliminary review of all submitted applications to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and align with the Foundation's objectives.
Further Evaluation: For applications that pass the initial screening, the Grants Committee may request additional information, invite the applicant to make a presentation, or conduct a site visit to gain a better understanding of the proposed project.
Final Decision: Recommendations from the Grants Committee are presented to the Board of Directors for approval. The Board makes final funding decisions in May or November, depending on when the application was received.
Applicants will be notified of the Board's decision through a formal letter outlining the terms and conditions of the grant, if awarded.
