Celebrate 60 years of conservation leadership with the Alberta Wilderness Association (AWA) at the 2025 Martha Kostuch Wilderness and Wildlife Lecture and Awards Evening on November 14, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta.
Hosted at the Crescent Heights Community Association, this milestone evening will feature inspiring talks, community recognition, and live music from acclaimed musician Corb Lund, who will also receive the 2025 Wilderness Defender Award for his dedication to Alberta’s wild lands and wildlife.
Attendees will also see the presentation of the “What’s Your 60?” finisher medallions, handcrafted by Bowness Soapworks + Seto Pottery, along with the Great Gray Owl Award, recognizing outstanding contributions to wilderness conservation.
