Tropicana Community Services is a Toronto-based multi-service charitable organization focused on supporting youth, families, newcomers, and people of Black, African, and Caribbean heritage. Founded in 1980 in Scarborough, it began with counselling for at-risk teen dropouts and has since grown into a vital community hub offering culturally appropriate programs. These include counselling, childcare, education, employment services, youth leadership opportunities, and settlement support that help thousands of people build confidence, develop skills, and make positive life choices. Tropicana works collaboratively with partners to create a welcoming and empowering environment for the communities it serves.
