About Daily Bread Food Bank
The Daily Bread Food Bank is Toronto’s leading organization in the fight against food insecurity. Founded in 1983, it now supports a network of over 130 member agencies across the city. Driven by the belief that food is a human right, they provide emergency relief while simultaneously advocating for systemic policy changes to eliminate poverty.
Beyond distribution, Daily Bread operates a massive logistics hub that rescues fresh produce and prepares thousands of nutritious meals annually. By combining immediate aid with rigorous research and advocacy, they aim to build a future where food banks are no longer necessary.
