To empower people to achieve their full potential, with strategically trained, Certified Service Dogs as catalysts for restorative change.
To be Canada’s premiere service dog provider, pioneering change in the lives of Canadians benefiting from our services.
National Service Dogs (NSD) has been transforming lives across Canada since 1996. As a registered charity, NSD specializes in training and placing certified service dogs that provide life-changing support to children, adults, and families living with disabilities.
NSD is recognized as a pioneer in developing specialized programs, including service dogs for children with autism, veterans and first responders living with PTSD, and individuals facing a range of physical and cognitive challenges. Each service dog is carefully matched to meet the unique needs of its partner, fostering greater independence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
With a deep commitment to innovation, inclusion, and community, NSD’s work is made possible through the dedication of professional trainers, volunteers, donors, and partners who all share the belief that service dogs are powerful agents of change.
