Join Quadrangle NL for the Garden Harvesting Event in St. John’s, a community gathering celebrating connection, gardening, and the first harvest of the Queers in the Garden program. This drop-in community garden initiative brings people together to grow food, build relationships, and create welcoming outdoor spaces.
Participants can help harvest vegetables grown throughout the season, connect with community members, and take home fresh produce from the garden. Hosted at the MUN Community Garden (Long Pond), this charity event encourages people to enjoy nature, learn through hands-on gardening, and participate in an inclusive community activity.
The Queers in the Garden program reflects the work of charitable organizations creating supportive spaces where people can connect, volunteer, and strengthen communities across Canada.
