The RBC Race for the Kids returns to Calgary for its 10th year, bringing families, runners, and community members together in support of youth mental health. Hosted in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, this charity run in Calgary raises funds for mental health programs, research, and resources that help children and families across the community.
Since launching in 2017, RBC Race for the Kids has raised more than $4.1 million and contributed to the creation of The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience, Calgary’s first community-based mental health centre dedicated to children and youth.
Participants can take part in a scenic 6-km run along pathways overlooking the Glenmore Reservoir or enjoy a shorter 1.7-km route inside Heritage Park, making it a great option for families with young children. Registration includes a race T-shirt, completion medal, access to Heritage Park, snacks, entertainment, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
Join one of Calgary’s meaningful charity events and help support programs improving youth mental health in Alberta.
