Halton Women’s Place

Halton Women’s Place is a community-based organization dedicated to providing safety, shelter, and compassionate support for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Operating in the Halton Region, the organization offers secure emergency shelters, a 24/7 crisis line, and a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where individuals can find safety and begin the healing process.

In addition to emergency housing, the organization helps survivors rebuild their lives using counseling, safety planning, legal protection support, and community outreach services. Prevention and education are also central to its mission, with staff running school programs and public campaigns to raise awareness about healthy relationships and break the cycle of abuse. Supported by local donors and community partners, Halton Women’s Place works continuously toward a future where every woman and child lives free from violence.
