Youth Without Shelter (YWS) has grown from 22 beds in 1986 into a full continuum of care for youth aged 16–24 experiencing homelessness. Based in North Etobicoke, YWS offers a wrap-around, trauma-informed model — shelter, one-on-one guidance, mental health support, life skills training, and housing services.
Our vision is a community where every youth has an accessible pathway to independence and a safe place to call home. Our mission: empower youth facing homelessness to reach their individual potential — building resilience, confidence, and independence, one youth at a time.
