To lead change that will revolutionize the addiction and mental health care experience for people in Ontario.
The best addiction and mental health system, anywhere.
Addictions and Mental Health Ontario (AMHO) is a Toronto-based provincial association supporting people across Ontario affected by addiction and mental illness. It advocates for equitable investment and system transformation, mobilizes its sector through peer-to-peer learning and best-practice sharing, and provides members with policy guidance, data and quality-improvement tools, and communications support.
AMHO's current strategic plan (2023–2027) focuses on driving system-level change to build a more accessible, high-performing mental health and addictions care system for all Ontarians. The organization represents over 200 front-line member organizations delivering community-based counselling, case management, peer support, residential treatment, withdrawal management, supportive housing, and hospital-based programs throughout the province.
