The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association - Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) is a non-profit charitable organization committed to supporting individuals of all ages with hearing loss across the province. Established in 1984 as the Newfoundland Hearing Association, it became the provincial chapter of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association in 1994. CHHA-NL offers a range of programs and services, including one-on-one consultations, free hearing screenings, loans of hearing assistive technology, and speechreading and lipreading classes.
