A world free from the pain and sufferingof inherited bleeding disorders.
The Canadian Hemophilia Society is a national health charity founded in 1953 that advocates for improved health and quality of life for people in Canada living with inherited bleeding disorders. Its long-term goal is a world free from the pain and suffering caused by these conditions, until cures are widely available.
With its national office in Montreal, the organization operates across three levels: national, provincial, and local. It is supported by ten provincial chapters and a network of volunteers across the country who help advance its mission in their communities.
The Canadian Hemophilia Society works closely with healthcare providers, treatment centres, blood system operators, and related health organizations to improve care, awareness, and support for individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders.
