About Autism Canada
Autism Canada is the only national organization that supports individuals on the spectrum and their families across their entire lifespan. Our mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life for autistic Canadians through advocacy, education, and the sharing of evidence-based resources. We champion a "see the person, not the label" approach, emphasizing that autism is a different way of experiencing the world rather than something to be fixed. By providing a bridge between the community, researchers, and policymakers, we work to ensure every individual has access to the support they need to thrive. Our goal is to foster an inclusive society where neurodiversity is celebrated and the unique strengths of every person are recognized.
